DESCRIPTION:L’Università di Siena è stata scelta dal Corriere della Sera come prima tappa del tour nazionale “Disclaimer. Ultime avvertenze prima della rivoluzione”\, un’opportunità per esplorare il futuro e l’impatto dell’intelligenza artificiale mettendo a confronto docenti ed esperti della materia con personalità rappresentative di ambiti diversi che possono portare un contributo originale in termini di analisi e riflessioni. \nMercoledì 17 settembre\, a partire dalle ore 11:00\, l’Aula Magna del Palazzo del Rettorato ospiterà una tavola rotonda sul tema “Artificial Intelligence e vaccini”. \nNel pomeriggio\, l’evento si sposterà al Santa Chiara Lab per una sezione dedicata alle startup locali e una gara di bioinformatica che coinvolgerà studenti dell’Ateneo. \nGli utenti che si iscrivono all’evento riceveranno tramite mail un qrcode da presentare all’ingresso.

DESCRIPTION:APRE and PROMIS are organizing a series of seminars dedicated to analyzing the strategies\, innovations\, and policies adopted at the European and national levels to combat cancer. \nThe aim is to foster discussion among stakeholders\, promote the sharing of best practices\, and strengthen cooperation between public\, academic\, and private entities to improve the fight against cancer in Europe and Italy\, with a view to synergizing programs and initiatives. \nThe fourth of five thematic meetings\, “Seminar 4 | Synergies between Italy and Europe in the Fight Against Cancer – Improving the Quality of Care through the Use of Health Data”\, will take place online on September 18\, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. \nThe event will explore how the innovative and secure use of health data can improve the quality of cancer care\, highlighting the contribution of European projects and initiatives. \n  \nTo register for the workshop\, please complete the FORM by 12:00 PM on September 15.

DESCRIPTION:Bright-Night\, the European Night of Researchers in Tuscany\, returns on Friday 26 September. \nAs always\, the protagonists of the Night will be researchers who will bring experiments and demonstrations to the streets\, with the aim of bringing citizens closer to science and the world of research. \nThe theme of the University of Siena’s Bright-Night 2025 will be that of ‘taking care’. \nThe promoters of the event are the Tuscan universities (Universities of Florence\, Pisa\, Siena\, Stranieri di Siena\, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa\, Scuola Normale Superiore and Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca)\, together with a wide network of research bodies – including the Pisa Area National Research Council (CNR)\, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN)\, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV)\, the European Gravitational Observatory (EGO)\, INAF Astrophysical Observatory of Arcetri – with the support of the Tuscany Region\, as part of the Giovanisì project.
