DESCRIPTION:The Horizon Europe Secretariat (ISED/ISDE) is organizing an online international matchmaking event on 12 May 2026\, from 8:00 to 9:30. This initiative is dedicated to Cluster 2 “Culture\, Creativity and Inclusive Society” in preparation for the 2027 calls for proposals. \nThe event aims to facilitate transnational collaboration on crucial themes such as social and economic transformation\, democracy\, and the safeguarding of cultural heritage. It represents a key networking opportunity to connect researchers and innovators from Canada\, Germany\, the Netherlands\, Sweden\, New Zealand\, and Italy\, fostering the creation of consortia for future research projects. \nThis virtual matchmaking event will begin with an overview of the research and innovation ecosystems of the participating countries and the calls for collaboration. This institutional event serves as the primary platform for showcasing and sharing the research projects developed across all scientific areas and the 14 Departments of the University\, emphasizing the value of discovery as a driver of progress. \nThe core of the day will be dedicated to presenting research initiatives with a strong innovative character\, with a specific focus on the practical application of results. In this context\, projects launched under two strategic funding programs will be highlighted: “NEW FRONTIERS”\, which supports high-risk research capable of introducing disruptive innovations in their respective fields\, and “INTERDX”\, which promotes initiatives characterized by strong interdisciplinarity through collaboration between faculty members from different scientific backgrounds. \nThis edition is further distinguished by two high-profile international keynote speeches.
