DESCRIPTION:The European Commission is organizing the Information Days dedicated to funding opportunities under Cluster 4 (Digital\, Industry & Space) of Horizon Europe for the 2027 Work Programme on 14 and 15 October 2026. This event provides a key opportunity for researchers\, academic staff\, and research officers to explore upcoming calls for proposals\, understand EU policy contexts\, and prepare competitive applications for a digital\, low-carbon\, and circular industry. \nOn 14 and 15 October 2026\, European Commission officials will present the upcoming research priorities and funding opportunities aimed at accelerating Europe’s digital transformation\, driving sustainable industrial growth\, and advancing space technologies. \nThe two-day sessions will combine policy insights with topic-by-topic pitches and practical applicant guidance: \n\n14 October (09:00 – 16:00) | Plenary\, Digital & Space: The first day kicks off with a high-level introduction to EU policy strategies\, followed by dedicated pitch sessions on key enabling and digital technologies — including Artificial Intelligence\, Robotics\, Quantum Technologies\, Next Generation Internet\, Advanced Computing\, Big Data\, Advanced Materials\, and Space (including Earth Observation).\n15 October (09:00 – 16:30) | Industry & Horizontal Guidance: The second day focuses on industrial transformation — covering Advanced Manufacturing\, Raw Materials\, Circular Industries\, and Low-Carbon/Clean Industries. The afternoon concludes with horizontal sessions offering practical guidance\, application tips\, and financial/administrative details.\n\nThis event is tailored for faculty members\, researchers\, postdoctoral fellows\, PhD candidates\, and research support officers looking to apply for Horizon Europe funding. \nParticipation is entirely online. DESCRIPTION:On 14 October 2026\, from 10:00 to 13:00\, the “BIG Community Day – Strategic Networking and European Project Development in Cluster BIG” (“BIG Community Day – Networking strategico e sviluppo di progettualità europee nel Cluster BIG”)  will take place at the Sala Polifunzionale of the Darwin-Dohrn Museum (DaDoM) in Naples. \nOrganised by Cluster BIG in collaboration with APRE on the occasion of the Cluster’s Annual Members’ Meeting\, this initiative aims to foster dialogue\, technology transfer\, and strategic networking across the national Blue Economy sector. The event brings together universities\, research institutions\, large enterprises\, and SMEs to stimulate new cross-sector partnerships and collaborative European projects. \nThroughout the morning\, participants will engage in structured thematic working tables centered on four key areas: Underwater\, Offshore\, Biodiversity\, and Fisheries/Aquaculture. Guided by APRE\, these sessions will explore funding opportunities under Horizon Europe\, allowing researchers to share expertise\, identify key synergies\, and build consortia for future EU proposals. Regole e accorgimenti per la gestione della proprietà intellettuale nelle collaborazioni tra enti di ricerca e imprese” as part of its Wednesday Webinar series\, on 14 Octber 2026\, from 14:00 to 17:00. \nCollaborations between universities\, public research organizations\, and businesses represent a fundamental tool for fostering knowledge transfer and research valorisation.
