SUMMARY:1st online EURAXESS training dedicated to the wellbeing of researchers: “Taking the reins of your emotional wellbeing”
DESCRIPTION:Working in academic research is a constant challenge. Researchers have great minds and analytical skills that allow them to move forward with their projects and thrive throughout these challenges. However\, factors such as the highly competitive nature of the sector\, interpersonal conflicts in the working environment\, and sometimes repeatedly hypermobility make them experience times of emotional discomfort throughout their careers. \nAiming at improving the levels of emotional well-being of international researchers\, we organize this workshop to help participants develop some key skills and personal attitudes to successfully manage stressful situations.\nThe session focuses on understanding the importance of observing one’s emotions as a source of valuable information for our well-being and learning some tools to manage them properly. \nThe event is at closing number. \nFor further information: https://www.euraxess.es/spain/events/workshop-stress-management-and-emotional-wellbeing \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:University of Siena participates in Siena Next\, the event organized by the Municipality of Siena in Piazza del Campo\, on June\, the 16th. \nThe aim of the day is gathering and illustrating the opportunities that evolve from the synergy between the institutions and the players in the field of planning and financing for the development of the city and its territory. \nThree UNISI professors (Chiara Mocenni\, Angelo Riccaboni and Simone Bastianoni) are invited speakers for the round tables centered on the main themes of national and European development policies\, in the “Sala delle Lupe”. \nIn the meanwhile\, in the “Cortile del Podestà”\, DRGM staff members present\, together with colleagues from other local governments\, at information booth\, set up to tell citizens how their entities are engaged in projects. \nUniversity of Siena\, in particular\, introduces a presentation related to its collaborative research projects funded by European Commission\, Italian Ministries and other foundations or institutions.
