DESCRIPTION:The Info day Cluster 5 focuses on the twin green and digital transitions to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050. \n\nBrokerage event\nWithin the Framework of the EC Horizon Europe Cluster 5 Infoday\, GREENET\, the network of Horizon Europe CL5 National Contact Points\, is organizing a networking and brokerage event – jointly supported by Enterprise Europe Network – focusing on the 2024 calls for proposals from the Work Programme of “Cluster 5: Climate\, Energy and Mobility”! \nThe event’s main objective is to gather all the relevant stakeholders intending to apply for funding\, supporting the development of consortia and project ideas. \nParticipants looking for partners will have the opportunity to present their organization and project ideas in 2 different ways: \n• Brief oral presentation (4 minutes max.) \n• Bilateral meetings (max. 20 minutes each) \nThe GREENET Brokerage Event will be organized in a virtual mode. SUMMARY:Horizon Europe – Cluster 2: Info Day and Brokerage Event
DESCRIPTION:Info day (18 October 2023)\n\nThe info day aims to inform (potential) applicants about topics included in the Cluster 2 ‘Culture\, Creativity and Inclusive Societies’ work programme for 2024. \nUnder the Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe\, Cluster 2 “Culture\, Creativity and Inclusive Society” aims to meet EU goals and priorities on enhancing democratic governance and citizens participation\, on the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage\, and to responding to and shape multifaceted social\, economic\, technological and cultural transformations. \nCluster 2 mobilises multidisciplinary expertise of European social sciences and humanities (SSH) for understanding fundamental contemporary transformations of society\, economy\, politics and culture. It aims to provide evidence-based policy options for a socially just and inclusive European green and digital transition and post-COVID 19 recovery. Future projects should deliver on the three intervention areas matching the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan (2021-2024): \n\nDemocracy and governance\nEuropean cultural heritage and the cultural and creative industries\nSocial and economic transformations\n\nAll topics under this Cluster are expected to mainstream Social Sciences and Humanities and to include a gender dimension. \nMore information and registration \n  \n\nBrokerage Event (19 October 2023)\n\nThe day after an online brokerage event has been organised\, it’s dedicated to consortium building in Cluster 2: “Culture\, Creativity and Inclusive Society”. \nThe event will include online bilateral meetings with partners interested in the same topics for the 2023 calls. DESCRIPTION:The University of Siena\, with the Liaison Office\, participates in the annual national Forum of the Research Exchange – Borsa della Ricerca\, which involves companies\, investors\, universities\, spin-offs\, start-ups\, groups and research centres. \nAn agenda of one-to-one meetings with companies will be an opportunity to present the University’s patents\, technologies and research projects to interested investors. \nThe 2023 edition of the Forum is organised by Fondazione Emblema with the University of Catania in collaboration with Leonardo\, and is scheduled at the Catania’s Benedictine Monastery. \nFurthermore\, in the PNRR Expo a special space will be dedicated to projects financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan\, to illustrate the progress of individual projects to the Forum participants and create new collaborations.
