SUMMARY:Ecomondo\, Rimini 5-8 November
DESCRIPTION:Ecomondo\, Europe´s reference event for the green and circular economy\, will be back at Rimini Expo Centre from 5th to 8th November 2024. Organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG)\, the event\, now at its 27th edition\, is a strategic international hub for exploring the technological solutions and policies needed to achieve a vision of sustainable development on a global scale.\nThe event is an essential opportunity to understand the current Italian\, European and international levels of adoption of the circular economy in the main industrial supply chains in line with the NRRP and European Green Deal projects. \nEcomondo 2024 will host a wide-ranging programme of conferences\, seminars and events that explore the main changes in technology\, regulations and the market in the various strategic sectors (both industrial and urban). These involve the circular economy\, water resources management\, environmental monitoring and regeneration\, and hydrogeological risk and mitigation. \nOn 6 November\, from 2:00 pm\, the Cluster SPRING is organising an international event entitled “Bio-based industry as a boost for sustainable primary production in rural regions: a journey across the Mediterranean basin”.

SUMMARY:RESTART Camp on Soft Skills
DESCRIPTION:The RESTART program organises a camp about cognitive skills\, in particular on Critical Thinking\, Creative Problem Solving\, Orientation to Goals.\n\n\nThe training initiative will be held in Bologna\, from the 18th to the 20th of November\, 2024.\n\nIt is intended for Early Stage Researchers (ESR): graduates\, PhD Students\, post-docs\, junior researchers and anyone willing to strengthen their cognitive skills to succeed in their research career.\nIt is open to ESRs from STEM and non STEM disciplines\, even outside the borders of the RESTART program.\nIn particular\, critical thinking\, creative problem solving and orientation to goals are the focus of the initiative.\n\nAfter a simple test\, the participant will get a written statement useful for credit assignment (18 hours).\n\nThe whole program will consist of highly interactive sessions\, with discussions\, assessments and individual contributions.\n\nParticipation is only allowed in presence.\n\n\nRead more information on Restart webpage.

Domenico Prattichizzo and moderated by prof. Marco Mugnaini.\nAt 18.30 will be offered an aperitif to encorauge an informal atmosphere of meeting and dialogue between the participants.
