May 15th marks the start of the second edition of THRUST – Tuscany Health Ecosystem entRepreneUrial Skills Training, a training course in which various aspects involved in the process of enhancing the value of an innovative solution in the health sector will be addressed and discussed, from the early stages of research design to establishing a startup.
Through 8 online sessions held from mid-May to early July, experts in the field will provide in-depth knowledge of intellectual property protection strategies, defining value proposition, market assessment, business and financial planning, and investor relations. A couple of practical sessions on the topics covered will complete the course in September; these will be held in person and details will be communicated to the interested participants.
THRUST is tailored for graduands, doctoral students, post-docs, researchers, clinicians and health personnel, and is not limited to Tuscany Health Ecosystem (THE) partners. Sessions will be held online once a week and are divided into thematic modules lasting about 3 hours each (mornings from 10 am to 1 pm). The full schedule can be found in the program: THRUST – Program
Doctoral students of THE partners will be issued certificates for each session for possible recognition of university credits (having attended at least 70 percent of the session). Participants from THE partners who are interested in developing business ideas will benefit from the support of spoke 5 partners at the practical sessions scheduled in September (in-person) and later in THRUSTER, an application phase for in-depth study of the topics addressed in THRUST.
