Description

PDS-EDU2 aims to transform the Digital Storytelling Platform (PDS) of the National Diary Archive (ADN) into a dynamic educational and cultural hub. The project will improve the accessibility and usability of the current platform by developing a second advanced level to support education, research, and public engagement. PDS-EDU2 will use human-centered design, semiotics, and communication sociology methodologies to create innovative and interactive teaching tools. It will actively involve students, teachers, and researchers, promoting access, interaction, and active participation (AIP model, Carpentier 2011) in cultural content. The updated platform will include educational courses and downloadable modules, with a toolkit available under a Creative Commons license for replicability. The goal is to expand ADN’s user base, improve the educational and research experience, and integrate digital tools with physical experiences, contributing to the dissemination of best practices in digitization and enhancement of cultural heritage.
