Applications are now open for the Innovation Village Award 2026, a national competition established and supported by Knowledge for Business, now reaching its eighth edition. This award is dedicated to recognizing and supporting innovative technologies, products, and solutions that actively contribute to achieving one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN 2030 Agenda.

Participation in the contest is completely free of charge and open to a wide range of actors, including academic research groups, university spin-offs, startups, SMEs, and independent innovators. To be eligible, applicants must present projects or technologies developed within the last two years. Furthermore, the proposed solutions must be either already available on the market or successfully validated at a prototype or pilot stage.
