Office XI of the Directorate General for Country Promotion (DGCE) of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has issued a call for joint research proposals of Significant Relevance (Grande Rilevanza) to renew the Executive Programme for Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Italy and Sweden for the 2027–2029 period.

The call aims to support high-level bilateral research collaboration between Italian and Swedish institutions within the following strategic thematic areas:

• Quantum Technology: e.g., quantum computing, quantum optics, and quantum metrology.
• Solar Science: research on solar physics, solar thermal energy, and solar-based technologies.

This opportunity is open to joint research teams from universities and research institutions in both countries.
