The Fondazione Roche has opened applications for the 10th edition of its Bando Fondazione Roche per la Ricerca Indipendente.

This nationwide initiative aims to foster independent scientific research by supporting early-career talent and funding innovative projects led by principal investigators under 40 years of age. The main goal is to finance research in therapeutic areas where current treatments show significant room for improvement, providing new hope for patient care.

The call offers a total funding pool of €280,000 to support 7 research projects with a grant of €40,000 each. It is open to public and private Italian research entities, universities, and healthcare institutes (IRCCS) conducting work in Oncology, Oncological Hematology, Ophthalmology, Neuroscience, and Hereditary Bleeding Disorders.
