The European Commission is organizing the Information Days dedicated to funding opportunities under Cluster 4 (Digital, Industry & Space) of Horizon Europe for the 2027 Work Programme on 14 and 15 October 2026. This event provides a key opportunity for researchers, academic staff, and research officers to explore upcoming calls for proposals, understand EU policy contexts, and prepare competitive applications for a digital, low-carbon, and circular industry.

On 14 and 15 October 2026, European Commission officials will present the upcoming research priorities and funding opportunities aimed at accelerating Europe’s digital transformation, driving sustainable industrial growth, and advancing space technologies.

The two-day sessions will combine policy insights with topic-by-topic pitches and practical applicant guidance:

• 14 October (09:00 – 16:00) | Plenary, Digital & Space: The first day kicks off with a high-level introduction to EU policy strategies, followed by dedicated pitch sessions on key enabling and digital technologies — including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Quantum Technologies, Next Generation Internet, Advanced Computing, Big Data, Advanced Materials, and Space (including Earth Observation).
• 15 October (09:00 – 16:30) | Industry & Horizontal Guidance: The second day focuses on industrial transformation — covering Advanced Manufacturing, Raw Materials, Circular Industries, and Low-Carbon/Clean Industries. The afternoon concludes with horizontal sessions offering practical guidance, application tips, and financial/administrative details.

This event is tailored for faculty members, researchers, postdoctoral fellows, PhD candidates, and research support officers looking to apply for Horizon Europe funding.

Participation is entirely online. The event will be broadcast live via Webex, with interactive Q&A sessions held via Slido. Webex streaming links for Day 1 and Day 2 will be released prior to the event. While attendance is free, prior registration is recommended.
