Description: INDACO2, an acronym for “Indicatori Ambientali and CO2,” is a company founded as a spin-off of the University of Siena in 2013. The company specializes in environmental consultancy and sustainability indicators.
The technical and scientific expertise gained from years of research at the University forms the company’s core know-how. INDACO2 uses consolidated methodologies, such as LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), to track a product’s environmental profile. The indicators it measures, including Carbon Footprint (ISO14067), allow for the identification of improvement actions to mitigate and offset impacts. The company also helps to promote good practices through clear and simple communication.
The results of the life cycle analysis serve as the basis for obtaining environmental certifications like ISO14067:2014 Carbon Footprint and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), supporting companies, organizations, and institutes interested in embarking on a path of lasting and sustainable development.

The company offers specific solutions and expertise to academic and industrial partners, leveraging the rational design of new molecules of pharmaceutical interest. Description: MENTOR developed the virtual assistant IVT Guglielmo, which serves as the main interface through which the C.R. agent (also referred to as the operator) performs their activities, namely managing the cases assigned to them. The IVT assistant interacts with the agent using: voice commands, visual signals, and sound signals.
The IVT assistant has an identity, which is also characterized by a 3D model (that has a human likeness, being the embodiment of a virtual supervisor), and its rendering occurs in real time within the software interface. All operations (case selection, call execution and management, case updates) and information (on the call’s progress) are also available through a graphical interface and text panels, in addition to voice and visual interaction.

These are intended for use in biocosmetics, functional cosmetics, the nutraceutical and bionutraceutical fields, supplements for disease prevention, and the development of new drugs (in particular for diseases of the osteoarticular system, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, inflammatory and chronic diseases, oncological chemotherapy, and new antibiotics).
The company also focuses on bio-phytostimulants for applications in organic and eco-sustainable agriculture. From a circular bioeconomy perspective, the residual biomass can be further enhanced and used to create other high-value marketable products, such as paper, fabrics, bioplastics, and new materials.
