On 12 November 2026, the University of Siena’s Liaison Office hosts a new session of “Aperitivo con le Imprese“, an initiative designed to inspire students and graduates toward entrepreneurship and business creation. Starting at 16:00 at the Santa Chiara Lab Showroom in Siena, the event will highlight the three new academic spin-offs established in 2026 within the University’s research laboratories:

• DETHENCO: Offers specialized services for the analysis of circulating RNAs in biofluids, integrating molecular analysis, bioinformatics, biostatistics, and biological-clinical interpretation.
• GEARC (Geo-Environmental and Archaeological Research Center): Capitalizes on academic research expertise in Earth sciences, archaeology, and cultural heritage diagnostics, providing specialized analytical and consulting services.
• UnAIverse: Aimed at bringing high-value AI solutions to B2B and B2G markets, using a human-centric approach focused on personalization and tailored dataset optimization for concrete business needs.

Now in its 12th edition, the event retains its established informal style, foregoing formal slide presentations in favor of concise 10-to-12-minute talks. Company founders will share their entrepreneurial journeys, discussing both the highlights and the practical challenges encountered along the way.

Following the presentations, a networking aperitivo will be served from 17:30, providing an open space for students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas, ask questions, and explore innovative projects emerging from the University of Siena.
