APRE-AIRI Workshop: “Il ruolo dei Materiali nella sfida europea per la competitività”

APRE, in collaboration with AIRI (Italian Association for Industrial Research), is hosting a hybrid workshop titled “Il ruolo dei Materiali nella sfida europea per la competitività” on 18 September 2026, from 11:30 to 13:00.

Taking place within the framework of the NanoInnovation 2026 Conference, the event will be held both online and in person at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome.

The workshop aims to bring together representatives from research, industry, and European institutions to explore the evolving landscape of materials policy in Europe. Advanced materials technologies represent a crucial driver for Europe’s industrial competitiveness, sustainability, and strategic autonomy, playing a key role in the digital, energy, and security transitions. The session will address key topics including the anticipated European Materials Act, the future Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2028–2034), and the prospects for collaborative European partnerships such as IAM-I.

Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is mandatory.

To participate in person in Rome, attendees must complete a two-step process by 11 September 2026 at 23:59:

  1. Complete the initial Registration Form.
  2. Complete the second registration on the official NanoInnovation 2026 Platform.

To participate online, remote registration must be completed by 16 September 2026 at 23:59.
