The European Commission’s flagship annual research and innovation event, European Research and Innovation Days (R&I Days 2026), will take place on 10 and 11 November 2026, in a hybrid format (in person at The EGG in Brussels and via live streaming online).

This high-level conference brings together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and civil society stakeholders to debate and shape the future of research and innovation in Europe and beyond. Marking a pivotal moment for Europe’s scientific agenda, the 2026 edition will reflect on the accomplishments of Horizon Europe while contributing to the strategic orientation of the upcoming 10th Framework Programme (FP10).

The 2026 edition of the event will be opened by Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation.
