The University of Siena participated in Siena Next, the event organized by the Municipality of Siena in Piazza del Campo, on June, the 16th.
The aim of the day was gathering and illustrating the opportunities that evolve from the synergy between the institutions and the players in the field of planning and financing for the development of the city and its territory.
Three UNISI professors (Chiara Mocenni, Angelo Riccaboni and Simone Bastianoni) have spoken at the round tables centered on the main themes of national and European development policies, in the “Sala delle Lupe”.
In the meanwhile, in the “Cortile del Podestà”, DRGM staff members were present, together with colleagues from other local governments, at information booth, set up to tell citizens how their entities are engaged in projects.
University of Siena, in particular, introduced a presentation related to its collaborative research projects funded by European Commission, Italian Ministries and other foundations or institutions.
Slides are spit into 4 parts:
- the first one includes an overview of funding received during the last 3 years
- the second one collects PNRR funded projects
- the third one is dedicated to UNISI Departments of Excellence (Department of Philology and Literary Criticism – DFCLAM and Department of Historical Sciences and Cultural Heritage – DSSBC)
- the fouth one brings together ongoing projects divided by panels ERC (LS – Life sciences, SH – Social Sciences and Humanities, PE – Physical Sciences and Engineering).
