The Italian Ministry of University and Research awarded 102 projects in which the University of Siena is involved within the framework of PRIN 2022 call (Research Projects of National Relevance).

Siena was granded with more than 7 million euros in funding for its 34 projects submitted as coordinator and its 70 projects submitted as partner.

You can read below achieved results divided into three ERC macroareas:

• 43 funded projects in Life Sciences (LS)
• 18 funded projects in Mathematics, physical sciences, information and communication, engineering, universe and earth sciences (PE)
• 43 funded projects in Social Sciences and Humanities (SH)

All 14 Sienese departments will receive at least 3 grants.
