Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation, with a budget of €95.5 billion.The programme facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies while tackling global challenges. It supports creating and better dispersing of excellent knowledge and technologies.

 

La Settimana Horizon Europe 2026

APRE organizza la Settimana Horizon Europe 2026, un evento diffuso articolato in sei appuntamenti che si svolgeranno tra dicembre 2025 e febbraio 2026.

L’evento principale sarà dedicato agli Info day europei sui bandi Horizon Europe 2026 – 2027, dal 15 al 17 dicembre in modalità online. Focus delle sessioni sarà la presentazione dei Programmi di lavoro 2026, completato da una panoramica delle iniziative connesse ai singoli temi. 

In continuità con le prime tre giornate verranno inoltre organizzati 5 side event ogni giovedì nei mesi di gennaio e febbraio 2026.

New elements in Horizon Europe

European Innovation Council: Support for innovations with potential breakthrough and disruptive nature with scale-up potential that may be too risky for private investors. This is 70% of the budget earmarked for SMEs.

Missions: Sets of measures to achieve bold, inspirational and measurable goals within a set timeframe. There are 5 main mission areas as part of Horizon Europe.
