DEADLINE: 16 April 2026, by 17:00
The MSCA-2026-SE (Staff Exchanges) call funds international, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary mobility for research and innovation staff through short-term secondments (1–12 months) to facilitate knowledge transfer. This initiative aims to strengthen sustainable networks and collaboration between different organizations across the globe.
The partnership contributes directly to a joint R&I project by seconding and/or hosting eligible staff members. Projects must go beyond previous work to generate or strengthen long-term collaborations, exploiting complementary competences and enabling networking activities such as workshops and conferences to facilitate knowledge sharing. Secondments must involve physical mobility between independent legal entities. While exchanges within EU or Associated countries should mainly be inter-sectoral, same-sector exchanges are also possible, with interdisciplinarity particularly encouraged between academic organisations.
A key focus of the MSCA Staff Exchanges is the acquisition of new skills and career development for participating staff. Participating organisations must ensure that seconded staff are adequately mentored, and proposals should clearly describe how the planned secondments will expose staff to different working cultures, skills, and career paths. The call requires a consortium of at least three independent organisations from three different countries and supports projects lasting up to 48 months. This opportunity is open to researchers at any career stage, as well as administrative, managerial, and technical staff supporting research and innovation activities.
