Description
The project aims to systematically map and study the correspondence (epistolario) of Eugenio Montale (1896-1981), focusing on both published letters and a selection of unpublished documents (to be described later). This mapping process is designed to:

Create an open-access database;

Define stable criteria and methodologies for the study of correspondence, which can be applied to other unpublished documents to allow for the continued expansion of the database after the project’s completion;

Publish specialized studies on the research topics authored by the members of the research units.
