The COP-PILOT project (funded under Horizon Europe) has launched a new Open Call to test and implement advanced Cloud, Edge, and IoT solutions in industrial and urban contexts. The initiative aims to support companies and organizations in developing interoperable digital applications that leverage the Collaborative Open Platform to orchestrate complex services and ensure technological interoperability.
The call focuses on projects that integrate AI-based tools, service automation, and secure data management to demonstrate the potential of edge intelligence across various production and urban environments.
Proposals must contribute to one of the following specific clusters:
-
Digital integration in mining processes;
-
Sustainable IoT solutions for smart buildings and cities;
-
Technological transformation and sustainability in agriculture;
-
Edge intelligence for power grid reliability;
-
Digital ecosystems for smart vineyards and sustainable wine supply chains.
A maximum of 8 projects will be selected for funding under this call. The opportunity is open to companies (including SMEs), universities, research centers, public bodies, and non-profit organizations established in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country.
Financial support can reach up to € 200,000 per project, providing 100% coverage of all eligible costs for each of the selected initiatives.
