On Thursday 28 May 2026, the eighth edition of the National Bioeconomy Day will be celebrated, promoted and coordinated by Cluster SPRING with Assobiotec-Federchimica.

The day was created with the aim of sharing and exploring the potential of the circular bioeconomy, fostering dialogue between institutions, businesses, the research world, and citizens.

The event is a nationwide initiative, consisting of numerous appointments throughout Italy—including seminars, workshops, laboratories, and guided tours—aimed at showing how renewable biological resources can be transformed into high-value-added goods and services. Participating in Bioeconomy Day means discovering innovative solutions for environmental sustainability, regional regeneration, and the country’s competitiveness.
